Forecast in detail

Today (Wednesday): Another beauty. Sunny skies send temperatures several degrees warmer today with afternoon highs in the low 80s. A dry breeze from the north, around 5 to 10 mph, keeps the humidity very low. Confidence: High 😎 Nice Day!

Tonight: Evening readings fall back through the 70s into the 60s. Overnight lows dip to the mid-50s to low 60s with calm winds. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Thursday): Plenty of sun once again and heating up, but still with low humidity. Highs head for the mid- to upper 80s with light winds. Confidence: High

Tomorrow night: Another comfortably warm evening as we fall back into the 70s. Skies continue mostly clear with overnight lows in the 60s. Confidence: High

A look ahead

High pressure should keep us hot and dry Friday and Saturday. We're mostly sunny Friday and partly sunny Saturday with highs at least in the upper 80s to low 90s, perhaps as hot as the low to mid-90s. Humidity is up a bit but still on the low side (dew points near 60) of typical summer standards. Friday and Saturday night lows settle in the mid-60s to low 70s, with a shower or storm chance Saturday night. Confidence: Medium-High

There is potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms at some point on Sunday as a cold front arrives. Highs are somewhere in the 80s to near 90 with a bit more of a humid feel. Confidence: Low-Medium

Models are mixed as to whether rain chances linger Monday and Tuesday, or if high pressure wins out and we stay dry. Either way we should be somewhat cooler with highs in the 70s to near 80.
