THE SITUATION: The worst of the severe weather has ended as the intense storm that swept from Middleburg, Virginia to Waldorf, Maryland has weakened and move off.
The rain should be over other than maybe stray shower.
Storms, capable of producing damaging winds, will probably be most numerous toward Virginia's Northern Neck and Southern Maryland.
Confidence in disruptive storms developing in the Beltway area is lower compared to yesterday.
