A few isolated showers or thunderstorms could develop in the DC region midafternoon into evening. If there were to be a shower or storm near Nationals Park today, it would probably be after 3 or 4 p.m., so it's not impossible the timing could coincide with the middle to later innings, although the chance is higher after the game than during.
