5:05 p.m. update: Occasional showers and storms, including some downpours and lightning, seem likely to continue in the area of Nationals Park through at least 8 p.m., perhaps a bit later. Hard to say if they'll try to wait out what could be a lengthy rain delay, or postpone.

From earlier...

Pretty decent chance a storm comes through at some point between approximately 4 and 7 p.m., potentially delaying the start. What is more uncertain is whether some scattered showers and a thunderstorm linger nearby later into the evening. This will be a forecast to check back on mid- to late afternoon.

Nationals vs Philadelphia Phillies, first pitch: 6:45 p.m.

We'll post any needed updates at the top of this post.
