Happening now: Evening temperatures near 80 sag to predawn lows near 60 to mid-60s. A slight increase in humidity overnight comes with a small chance for a brief shower.

What's next? Some spots have a shot at 90 degrees Sunday and Monday. Plenty of sun Sunday, then cloudier Monday with decent rain chances, perhaps a couple strong storms.

Forecast in detail

Tonight: Mainly clear despite a slight chance for a brief, stray shower. Lows bottom out near 60 to mid-60s. A breeze from the northwest dies out overnight. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Sunday): Sunny with just a few high clouds. Highs in the mid-80s to around 90 are still comfortable with dew points mainly in the 50s. A tiny chance for a brief, stray shower or sprinkle. Breeze from the west-northwest may gust near 20 mph. Confidence: Medium-High

A look ahead

There could be some morning showers Monday, but rain odds are higher by afternoon and evening. Depending on how it comes together — more sun, less sun, etc. — there's a chance for some intense late-day storms and some areas of heavy rain. It'll get up within a few degrees of 90 in most spots with more noticeable humidity and a gusty wind from the south and southwest. Confidence: Medium

We're behind another decent cold front Tuesday and Wednesday. Mostly sunny both days, with highs in the low to mid-80s. Confidence: Medium
