A look ahead
Thursday looks absolutely amazing, with partly to mostly skies, cooler than normal highs in the low 80s, and very low humidity (dew points dip into the low to mid-50s). Refreshing Thursday night under mostly clear skies. Lows fall into the 60s in the city, while autumn-like mid- to upper 50s are possible in our cooler suburbs — a welcome surprise for July. Confidence: Medium-High
Friday may be even better than Thursday with relatively cool highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, very low humidity, and lots of sunshine. Mostly clear and comfortable Friday night with lows mainly in the 60s, but a few lucky outer spots could still touch the 50s. Confidence: Medium-High
The final weekend of July also looks quite pleasant, with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s. Saturday night remains comfortably cool, with lows in the 60s. Humidity inches up Sunday, when a late-day shower or thunderstorm becomes possible. Confidence: Medium-High
Highs next week may remain mostly in the 80s — slightly below normal — while rain chances trend somewhat above normal.
